Gastroparesis Poem
I hope you get a chance to read this,
I have a battle with
gastroparesis,
I said to God that I dont need this,
I got on my knees and prayed for Jesus.
I screamed in pain
night and day,
Vomiting was a price to pay,
I waited just to pass away,
But then one day I was OK.
I had stopped
breathing many times,
Wondering what were my crimes,
I even wanted to die sometimes,
As my pain crossed very fine
lines.
But mommy said the devil is a liar,
Go back to hell and into your fire,
She did no wrong in her life prior,
To
Gastroparesis which we do not require.
I had nasal gastric feeding,
And my stomach had stopped bleeding,
Mommy's
prayer's was what god was heeding,
And my pain was now receding.
Im here to tell you, you CAN feel fine,
A normal
meal so you can dine,
Maybe even a glass of wine,
And not be in pain all of the time.
